Swelling with red spots
My son get swelling on legs with red spots sometimes on hands as well. and will reduce after 1 or 2 days with cetrizine syrup.

If you would have uploaded a pic it would have been very helpful. From your description it seems like an allergic rash. U need to maintain a log of what your child eats, or any skincare products used, or even playing in the sand or mud. This will help you point out to the things he is allergic to and u can avoid them accordingly
