Swelling problem
Doctor my mom has problem of thyroid and she always have body swelling specially legs swelling Please suggest some exercise to get rid out of it

Maintaining good muscle pumping action by physical activities (calf pum in lying down) around that body part will reduce it to some extent.

Is she taking her medication properly. Maintain her TSH levels in the range. If the levels are proper we should also evaluate any other cause of Swelling in the legs.

Is she taking her medicines on time as advised? She can visit a good physiotherapist to learn the exercises so that she can continue doing them in correct form at home.

First she has to get thyroid under control, then she can start with basic strengthening exercises for entire body along with mobility exercises, relaxed diaphragmatic breathing exercises and few of yoga poses might help

Hello.., ask ur mom to do move ankle up down  frequently.. Keep the leg in elevation Wear stocking if legs r in dependent position for long time.. In standing heel raising exercises.. Imp- Keep thyroid in control n have a balanced diet n pranayam regularly..

Getting thyroid under control is most important. Else you need to see an endocrinologist to sort it out. In order to reduce swelling , keep the legs on 2 to 3 pillows ( I.e above heart level) and then she can do ankle pumps ( moving ankle up and down)
