About 6 weeks ago i noticed tonsil stones and then removed it. Two weeks after that, i again got the tonsil stones and this time i observed that there was swelling in my right tomsil which i wasn't able to notice earlier. I went to my chest specialist thinking it may be due to the allergy which caused me chronic coughing last year. But he told me that it is an infection and gave me augpen 600(3 times a day for 5 days) and betadine gargle but it had no effect. after a week he gave me CEFTUM 500(twice a day for 5 days) it again had no effect.
What could be the possible cause?
