Swelling and pain in knee and legs is most commonly associated with osteoarthritis of knee joints.. This is a part of degenerative changes of cartilage in the knee joint..
Next Steps
You can start with hot fomentation,  take analgesic of pain is severe, take calcium and vitamin d supplements,  start with knee joint movement exercises and strengthening of muscles around knee.. You may continue your medicines for HTN and DM..
