Swelling in ear

Asked for Female, 29 Years

I have a small swelling inside my ear ( i.e on the external auditory ear canal.) It is causing pain. It's been 4 days, still swelling not reduced. Please suggest if it is normal or anything which needs to be taken serious.

If the swelling is not coming down consult a doctor and start a course of treatment, if you would have attached pictures it would have been helpful. Do not clean or itch the ear.
