Swelling below ankle
Hi doctor greetings I accidentally slipped from the steps and my leg got twisted immediately rushed to nearby hospital and made an x-ray to check for any fractures everything was fine and it has been two days the swelling is there still now (attached image) and mild pain while walking I am on complete rest now how many days should I take rest doctor.. thanks

- Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. - Keep a pillow under the leg. - Avoid painful acts & activities. - Fomentation with warm water. -Let the part not be exposed cold. -Do mild exercises for the affected part.- knee and legs and feet. -Any way it may be tried, --. Ugesic (Piroxicam) 20mg 1tab od x 5days --. Caldikind plus  (Mankind) 1tab OD x 10 days. Kindly make sure, there is no allergy to any of these medicines. --For emergency treatment visit nearest hospital. This treatment has been  suggested on bases of the information provided. Hi This seems to be ankle sprain Which is ligament injury
Next Steps
Apply ice 5 times a day Keep the leg over a pillow while sleeping Apply an ankle brace or a crepe bandage Minimum walking Any painkiller ( emanzen D ) twice a day after food for 3 days
