Swelling around nail
There is swelling around one of the nail since past few days which is not going away. He has tried few home remedies yesterday that seem to work but wanted to make sure if there is anything to worry about. Attaching the images for reference.

It appears that you have a fungal infection of the nail. Most fungal nail infections are not serious. However, some people may  be bothered by the appearance of their nails. Fungal nail infections may cause nails to become discolored, thick, fragile, or cracked
