Swelling and pain in Index finger
I injured myself while playing Cricket last Saturday. I hurt my right hand index finger on the joint which is just below the nail. While the swelling has subsided a little, the pain still continues. I have been applying an ice-pack 2-3 times everyday.

You may have a small fracture at that place. It's called a mallet finger.
