Swelling and pain at injection site
It's been 7-8 days I went to general physician since I was suffering from left rib pain . He has given me some injection for pain relief. I was feeling slight pain at right hip side at injection site . But from yesterday I can feel injection site is swollen and feeling pain when I touch. It's hard as well .I am not able to sleep at right side also when it's touched it's paining. Yesterday night got mild fever 99.9 . Today as well some weakness I am feeling. What could be the issue ? Why injection site is swollen after a week ?

Severe pain/swelling/tenderness/ redness at site of injection aftr 3-5 days..
More like looks like abcess...
Strt wit a course of antibiotics, pain killerand cold compression...
