If there is trauma get xray done. If non-traumatic infection may be the cause. Are you having fever? Antibiotics would help. Patacetamol and other analgesics and anti inflammatory drugs would help relieve pain and swelling.

How did it happen ? Due to trauma? You need an Xray.. and anti inflammatory drugs for the pain and swelling.
