You can do swarna prashana to your baby during Pushya nakshatra as Chandra is adhipathi on that day. It helps in increasing the immunity as well as intellectual power of the baby.

I don’t know the benefits of it. Consult an ayurvedic physician.
But do keep a consideration of feeding your child with a balanced meal focused more on fruits and vegetables and healthy fats
Svarnaprashan (also spelled Swarna Prashana) is an Ayurvedic immunity-boosting practice traditionally given to children. It involves administering a mix of gold (Svarna) ash (processed gold in very minute, safe quantities), honey, ghee, and herbs like Brahmi or Vacha. It is believed to enhance immunity, improve memory, and support overall health.
Before giving Svarnaprashan to your 21-month-old son, here are a few key points to consider:
1. Consult a Qualified Ayurvedic Practitioner
Ensure you consult a certified Ayurvedic doctor before administering Svarnaprashan. They will assess your child's health, weight, and constitution (Prakriti) to determine if it is suitable for him.
The dosage and preparation should be customized to your child's age and weight.
2. Check the Source of Svarnaprashan
Purchase only from a reputed Ayurvedic clinic or pharmacy to ensure quality and safety.
Avoid products without proper certification or those not prescribed by an expert.
3. Your Child's Weight
At 21 months, the average weight for a child is approximately 10-12.5 kg, depending on various factors like birth weight and growth patterns. Your son’s weight (10.9 kg) seems appropriate for his age, but regular pediatric checkups are essential to ensure his growth is on track.
4. Complement with Proper Nutrition
While Svarnaprashan may support immunity, ensure your child is receiving a balanced diet with adequate protein, vitamins (especially Vitamin C), and minerals like iron and zinc, which are essential for immunity development.
5. Regular Pediatric Care
Continue vaccinations and routine checkups with your pediatrician, as these are scientifically proven methods to boost and protect immunity.
If your Ayurvedic doctor gives the go-ahead, you can safely give Svarnaprashan to your child as part of his health routine. Ensure you monitor your child during the process.
