Swallowing thing on ground
Hello doctor, I have 15 months old baby and off recently he started grabbing whatever is there on the ground and putting it into his mouth. Initially I had thought it was because he was hungry but he refuses to eat food if I try to feed him while doing this. What should I do to stop him doing this and the reason for this behavior as well. Thanks

Sometimes at this age group kids do get nutritional anaemia and most common us iron deficiency anaemia due to which they do like this. I would suggest you can give him some iron tonic like syp vitcofol 3 ml once a day at bedtime and also you have to give deworming medicines if not given in last 6 months.
