Suspected Vertigo
My mother has been facing her head spinning as soon as she lies down. This has been happening now for more than 6 months. Throughout the day she is fine as soon as she closes her eyes and lie down she starts feeling dizzy.

She seem to be suffering from condition known as Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo which is a common type of vertigo problem. She needs to be evaluated by certain tests to confirm the diagnosis and side of lesion and if confirmed she needs to undergo a maneuver known as Epley maneuver which will cure the vertigo. Medicines are not useful
