Surgery for multiple hip fracture
Due to falling down my mother suffers with multiple fracture-one around hip area. Become bed, - ridden. Doctors adviseng for surgery but with, 50% guarantee for her life. Whether it would be risky to do a surgery at this age? Pl guide.

She should be operated if you want to see her off the bed .
On the bed no much will improve but things may worsen.
Elderly people should be made mobile asap .
Try to talk to your anaesthetist and surgeon for fitness issues.
