Supplements
Hi, both my parents are 60+, both are healthy, no BP or Sugar. Due to aging, they feel tired easily. Blood reports normal. Is it fine if they can have supplements.Am planning to get Centrum Adults 50+ as it has many essential nutrients. Is this brand fine or can you suggest any general brands.

It's great that your parents are healthy and looking to maintain their energy levels. Centrum Adults 50+ is a well-balanced multivitamin and generally safe for seniors. However, before starting any supplement, it’s always best to assess their specific nutritional needs. What to Consider Before Choosing a Supplement: 1. Iron & B12 Levels – Seniors often develop deficiencies that may require targeted supplementation. 2. Vitamin D & Calcium – Essential for bone health, especially in aging individuals. 3. Omega-3 Fatty Acids – Supports heart and brain function. 4. Coenzyme Q10 – Helps with energy and muscle function, especially if they feel fatigued. Alternative General Brands: Supradyn Multivitamin 50+ (For overall health) Neurobion Forte (For nerve health & energy) Evion 400 (For antioxidant & skin benefits) Since every individual’s needs are different, I strongly recommend a consultation to tailor the best supplement plan for them. For personalized advice, feel free to reach me on WhatsApp at eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two.

Try getting diet right rather than taking supplements. if you can consult a dietician its even better. But if you really want to get them supplements better get folic acid ,b complex, vitamin c...there is not much difference in generic or branded but physical examination is required to start supplements. Hope you find it helpful

It's normal to feel that way in your 60s, try some dietary modifications with some lifestyle modifications, supplements are okay but don't take them unnecessarily, don't fall for the traps.
