Sulphur burps
Hello doctor,I I am experiencing severe bloating from the past couple of months with pain in the upper abdomen and an increase in waist size. Today, I started to have Sulphur burps. I also took Cifran OZ, 10 TABS for 5 days. I usually have this issue for a couple of months and it subsides and this goes on as a sine wave, but I generally do not have Sulphur burps. I am type 2 diabetic since 2010 and my A1C levels are generally between 6.2 and 6.4 Please advice.

Hello there...i understand your concern...try eating several small meals instead of three large ones whenever you can...Avoid foods that irritate your stomach, especially those that are spicy, acidic, fried or fatty... avoid coffee, tea etc... Avoid stress, consider calming activities, such as meditation, yoga etc...sleep with head raised position and have dinner at least 2 hours before sleep..do regular exercises...Consult gastroenterologist they will do the needful.
