If goals weight loss, then it is best to avoid consumption of artificial sugar or sweetener.
It is always best to meet sugar cravings from low calorie fruits like apple, berries, grapes.
5 natural sweetener good for health
1. Stevia
2. Erythrol
3. Xylitol
4. Yacon syrup
5. Monk fruit sweetener.
If you do not have Diabetes then no need to have sugar alternative. Instead small amount of jaggery would be better option. Beware of white jaggery that is not good.
Reduction or elimination of white sugar is not the solution for weight loss.
