Sugar levels increased during chemo
55 yr male diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Undergoing oxalplatin+capacitibine+bevacizumab chemo.done with 3 cycles. After the last chemo experienced full nausea and vomiting.when tested random blood sugar it is around 340. Will chemo increases blood sugar levels .patient is diabetic and he will use gemer forte1 tablets morning ang night. Please specify what might be the reason.patient is strictly following diabetic diet

Yes.. steroids given with and after chemotherapy  increase sugar levels...
