Sugar level increased from 187 to 267
The sugar level for my mom increased from 187 to 267 in span of 5 days.... she had one chikoo, orange and brown rice one day. Is this the reason for increase. She is taking insulin..30 in the morning and 15 at night

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Yes. It might be. Strict diet control is necessary. Avoid fuch fruits and rice. Foods with high glycemic index are to be avoided . Walking necessary daily. Consult a diabetologist in person for further evaluation and management
