Sugar level fluctuation in fasting
My fathers fasting after 10 hours is used to be 110 -120 although he is diabetic but if we do fasting after 12 or more hours fasting tend to increase to 160-180 what may be the reason? Do i need to consult doctor for this or it is normal.

Hi,  fasting values may sometimes increase if on prolonged fast, but it is very dangerous for a diabetic to fast for a long time. It depends on the treatment he may be taking also.
