Sugar issue and bp
I used to give maxmall 1000mg to my father, he got stroke on 25june,because he used to stop taking bp medicine, but after so many many problems, he sounds bit fine, but he still got sugar problem and bp problem, I consult a doctor, he suggests me not to give sugar medicine, he feel, in case if he get unconscious, he is not be able to tell you what going on, and he may be reached at the old angry stage, so if sugar goes up-to 250 is fine, I want to know, is it okay to with same advice or should I consult someone else.

It will be good if blood sugars are maintained within the below mentioned target. Before food less than 130. 2 hours after food less than 180. I can understand your concern of losing consciousness. To prevent low blood sugars give small meals every 3 hours.

Hi I can understand your concern Sugar needs to be under control we should start appropriate medication so it is around 200 Not more than 200 Patient will become unconscious only if sugar level goes less than 60 We should start appropriate medication to prevent patients from getting heart problem kidney problem or an another stroke
