I am an otherwise healthy person, except for ireegular periods / pcod / hormonal disorder (read: once in 3-4 months, running for approx. 3 weeks or more).
I generally crave
sugar a lot. I have the usual sugar in my tea/coffee, other than that I have 2-3 cream biscuits in the evening, some toffee during the day and if I go to the supermarket, I pick up some small chocolate or cream roll. While I understand having a sweet tooth, I sometimes find this excessive and worry this might make me diabetic in the long run. And it is unhealthy but I feel unable to resist sugar. There is no history of
diabetes in my family yet. Is there a medical reason for all this sugar craving? And would consulting a dietician help in any way?
