My Name is Amaan khan, and I am suffering from Slipped disc. Because of which I am really tired and lost the quality of life. I always have sciatica pain. My question is what diet should I follow to strengthen my disc and loose my weight same time.

Slipped disc is pathology in disc in between two vertebral bodies. Whenever there is increased size it compresses nerve root. The cause is totally mechanical irrelevant to diet. For loosing weight we should take fiber rich diet so that fat binds to fiber will not absorb and pass out through stool.

If you ar having slipped disc and actually have the complains you say of having continuous pain to your leg , then there is very little you can do with diet and weight reduction although they do help in preventing this disc bulge but do not help in already diseased discs. I would like to see your MRI and guide you so pls do send your mri
