Thank you for your question. PCOD is a lifestyle condition where the hormone balance in the body is disturbed. This affects the ability of the ovary to release an egg each month and multiple follicles get trapped in the ovary giving the characteristic appearance on ultrasound examination. You can manage pcod by improving in two key areas. One is regular exercise and weight control and the other is nutrition and diet. You need to see an expert in nutritional medicine so that they can. Advise you about the correct eating habits to protect you internal hormone balance and ovaries.
