Suffering from fever since last 4 days
My daughter is 14 month old and suffering from fever since last 4 days. Consulted to doctor n he prescribed paracetamol . Whenever we administered medicine fever is getting reduced but after 4-6 hours fever is getting increased till 100 degree and more than that.
Please provide your suggestion. Can I give sponge bath. Will this help in reduction of fever.

Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take 3-7 days to subside completely.
If not accompanied by any other symptoms like vomiting or loose motions or coughing and breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed,just give paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required.
If not improving in 5-7 days OR accompanied by above,consult your paediatrician.
