Suffered ankle sprain
I fell down from a foot height and after that the area around my ankle of left leg had huge swelling. i war barely able to walk with huge pain. but on the very next day the Spain reduced to almost 50 percent . the swelling is reducing slowly and only a bit on ankle and around it is left. it has past 20 days and almost 25 percent of swelling is left. i have been walking almost 5 to 7 kms in this condition with batrely any pain. still i had my ankle x ray yesterday which i have attached photos of. please suggest me whether this is a muscle problem or bone problem. and what precautions do i need to take and do i need to tie any cramp bandages or just passing time can heel it. thanks in advance.

It looks like ligaments injury. If not much pain now- mostly likely ligament problem. Avoid inversion for first six weeks. Crepe bandage will give comfort to you. Swelling is common upto 6 months
