I am a type 1 diabetic and a college student. I was attending my practical exams and had taken my novarapid insulin at 10:00 and had my breakfast. In college I was thirsty and i checked my sugars at 3:15 it was around 250 and I took 15units of Novarapid. I was thirsty even after having buttermilk, so when I drank water after 15 mins, and walking towards the metro suddenly I started feeling a warm/Nervous/tingling sensation and feeling to pass out, heart rate went high and hands were shaking, I was scared and confused about what was happening I was feeling dizzy, I wanted to sit down and I was feeling that I am not able to breathe.
I am okay right now but what was It and it has never happened to me, What could be the cause?
My units are
Morni-10u Novarapid
Afternoon -15U Novarapid
Night:- Novarapid -10u and lantus-18U
