Sudden wheeziing sound passing in ear.
I suddenly feel a wheezing type sound passing through from one ear to other inside. And then my ear feels blank for few seconds also i have pulling in my muscle under both ear i have cervical spondolytis so tughtness in neck muscle. What is the reason for this tightness and a blank sound in my ear sometimes. I also have anxiety issue from some time can that cause this too?. Or i use earphone while sleeping. If that is the reason i will instantly leave it

This can happen at times due to stress , anxiety or fatigue. Is there any giddiness associated , which you have not mentioned. Avoid hearing at loud sounds with ear phones.

It is normal for ear to produce some whistling sounds when you do Valsalva maneuver. It could also be due to ear drum damage or sign of ear infection or fluid in ear. Finally yes anxiety can cause one to magnify normal things. Listening to loud sounds even while sleeping can permanently damage the hearing nerves.
