Sudden swelling under eye lid
I have sudden swelling under lower eye lid and no redness or itching in eyes. Only swellen part is irritating. Please let me know if this is not serious.

A red, painful swelling near the edge of the eyelid that may look like a boil or pimple is a characteristic feature of stye. It develops from small glands of eyelid. It is self resolving within few days. The most effective treatment is dry hot fomentation. Warm comress or  warm washcloth applied to the eyelid may relieve pain and discomfort. You can take any anti-inflammatory tablet after meals. Avoid rubbing maintain hygeine.

Start warm compression . Antinflamatory as well as antibiotics required. Please consult.

It appears that there is infection. Pl consult ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment. Pl do Hot phomentation.
