I am working in reputed MNC. I am having issues related to sleeping. I sleep 6-7 hours in night and I work either during morning shift(7am to 4pm) or afternoon shift(14:30-23:30). While working in between I sleep suddenly and wake up suddenly without me being able to know... its very unhealthy. ...My colleagues hv complained it as well. I recently in my weekoffs give good rest to body..eat sleep exercise (swim 20mnts a day). After dinner I do brisk walk then goto sleep...Still while working or at theatre or ny meeting I sleep suddenly & Snore very badly ...please help ...

Shift work schedules go against our internal body clocks.
Get enough sleep on days off. Practice good sleep hygiene by planning and arranging a sleep schedule and by avoiding caffeine, alcohol and nicotine. Do not start a night shift with sleep deprivation.
Eating smaller meals can help . Control your sleep schedule. Schedule daytime short naps . Have an exercise and meal routine schedule.
Consult a Physician to rule out any medical conditions and a Psychologist to understand the underlying causes to help you with sleep hygiene and to manage the sudden sleep during the day .
