Sudden pain below ankle
I've been having acute pain below my ankle bone and above the arch of my foot. It is most acute when I wake up in the morning and gets better during the day. Walking in the morning is extremely painful. I had this same pain last year but it went away and now it is back again. The pain is similar to a sprain but it isn't a sprain .

Does the sole of the foot hurt or burns? Any heel pain? Is it worse the first thing in the morning? It may be plantar fasciitis if joint isn't involved
