Sudden acne flare up at 25
I am 25 years old and have started getting new pimples, mostly on my upper cheeks, overnight for the past week. These pimples are cyst-like—throbbing and painful. Previously, I had a flare-up around September-October, which was limited to my lower cheeks. I took minocycline at the time, and while the acne subsided, I still have marks that haven’t faded as they used to earlier. Currently, my skincare routine includes: Dermaco Salicylic Acid Facewash, Salicylic Acid + Niacinamide Serum, Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin C Serum, Sunscreen (SPF 50), Aloe Vera Gel. My periods are regular, and I haven’t noticed other significant changes in my health. Could you please help me understand the cause of these sudden breakouts and suggest an appropriate treatment?

These flare ups might be mainly due to your hormonal imbalances. If you are overweight, lowering it would do the trick But for your flare ups, minocycline will help you can use benzoyl peroxide gel on the pimples as well As for your marks, you can try a kojic acid cream Kindly watch over your diet Reduce amount of simple carbs in your diet and dairy products like milk , cheese You can consume lactose free milk instead If you have PCOS , getting it under control will help immensely

Using all these creams doesn't work It is due to excessive spicy foods u eat and maybe due to hormonal imbalance also And observe that ur bowels are clear (if it is constipation etc) Use gramflour soap for the face and u can take nitya virechana for some days to remove some toxins Also take manjistadi tablet 1-0-1 for 30 days
Next Steps

Hello,          Kindly address more about your gut health. Are you experiencing any kind of digestive problem, acidity or are your bowels normal.? It may be due to hormonal issue or aggravated pitta (heat) in your body. And using multiple active agents may cause more harm than good. Avoid spicy, sour and fried foods. For ext.use paste of Neem+Turmeric. Take some neem leaves boiled in water, use this water for face wash. Not only external medicines will help, internal correction should be done. For more internal medications and purgation therapy on daily basis you can consult me online.

Topical Care: Continue Aloe Vera Gel; add Turmeric & Sandalwood Paste for 10-15 mins twice a week. Use Kumkumadi Oil at night for pigmentation.
