Do you have any other lymph nodes anywhere else ? You will need a complete physical examination for that. Please also get Blood CBC and X ray chest done. If you have any other lymph nodes, please consult with the doctor who examines you and proceed further with the treatment. In Tele-consultation we will be treating you with insufficient information.

You need to provide us with detailed history of your condition. The medication that you took and the onset of it. This may take a lot of time though. Consult a physician on practo at your convenience.

Lymph node swelling can occur because of various reasons like Cold, Flu, Tooth and gum infection, Skin infection, Fungal infections etc. In case of pain and swelling you can take over the counter medications like Zerodol SP for 3-5 days. You can also apply warm wet compress to the affected area which would help in reduction of the swelling. Consult under Practo as per your convenience for further evaluation.
