Stuffy nose mucormycosis
4 weeks back recovered from covid, under steroid treatment 8mg/day per week then tapered. Has mild sinusitis. Now feeling stuffy nose from yesterday. Prediabetic and hba1c 5.8 fbs90 and ppbs 130. Any suggestions on mucormycosis??

Take steam for your stuffy nose, keep blood sugar under check and maintain oral n nasal hygiene as well.

Your HBA1C levels are below 6 And the steroid dose you were on is not a immunosuppressive dose

Please keep a check on your sugar levels ( test it 2-3 times a day ) if still on steroids Make sure you keep your surroundings clean and hygienic Avoid construction sites , moist and damp places Wear mask regularly and discard after use Do not re use the same mask for more than 4-6 hour continuous period Use boiled water Clean your nebuliser/ steamers after every use
