Struggling with Emotions and Overthin
I tend to overthink a lot, which often leads to headaches. I get angry very quickly, and during those moments, I say things without thinking. Sometimes, I even experience suicidal thoughts. Later, I regret what I said or thought. Even small comments made by others disturb me deeply, and I keep thinking about them for a long time. It’s a constant struggle between my mind and emotions."

Hi What you’re describing is a powerful emotional storm—your thoughts race ahead, your anger flares suddenly, and then guilt and pain come crashing in afterward. This constant tug-of-war between your mind and your emotions is exhausting, and it’s understandable that it leaves you feeling drained, even hopeless at times. You are not weak for feeling this way—you’re emotionally overloaded and your nervous system is stuck in fight or flight. Overthinking, sensitivity to criticism, and emotional outbursts are often signs of underlying anxiety or unresolved emotional wounds. The suicidal thoughts aren’t your true self—they’re signals that you’re feeling stuck and desperate for relief. And you can find that relief, slowly and safely. Start small: write down your overwhelming thoughts when they hit. Get them out of your head and onto paper—it creates emotional distance. Practice 4-7-8 breathing when you feel your anger rise. And after moments of regret, don’t shame yourself—instead, try to name what triggered you. Therapy will help you uncover the roots of your pain, strengthen emotional control, and rebuild inner peace. You don’t need to keep carrying this burden alone. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting the pain—it means finding a way to stop letting it control you. Take therapy, and you can connect with me on nine two six six seven two six zero six five.

All your symptoms suggest depression with a severe degree. You need to be evaluated thoroughly. Distress is very much and that's impairing your functioning. At times you have suicidal thoughts which warrant immediate treatment. Medications will help at this point of time. Therapy might not work now as distress is too much but it will definitely work once your mood gets better after taking medicine & you are somewhat able to think rationally & participate in therapy.
Next Steps
Please consult the Psychiatrist immediately & take meds. Don't worry, these won't make you dependent on them. If you have active suicidal thoughts, please get admitted in nearest psychiatry hospitals. You need to be under supervision for 24 hours.
Health Tips
Please don't waste time in asking home remedies or waiting for therapy to work. Don't act on your suicidal thoughts & report them to your family members.

Hello, Thank you for opening up and sharing what you're experiencing. From what you describe — frequent overthinking, anger outbursts, sensitivity to comments, and occasional suicidal thoughts — it sounds like you're going through significant emotional distress that is affecting both your mental and physical well-being (like headaches). Firstly, I want you to know that you are not alone in feeling this way, and it is very important that you receive support. What you're experiencing could be related to underlying issues such as unresolved emotional pain, stress, anxiety, or depressive symptoms. The cycle of overthinking, emotional reactivity, and regret can become exhausting over time and impact your daily life and relationships.
Next Steps
Seeking Therapy: Working with a psychologist can help you explore the root causes of your emotional responses, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and build emotional regulation skills.
Health Tips
Emotional Regulation Techniques: Techniques such as deep breathing, grounding exercises, and mindfulness can help manage strong emotions before they escalate. Cognitive Restructuring: Learning to identify and challenge negative thought patterns can reduce overthinking and emotional overwhelm. Crisis Support: Since you mentioned experiencing suicidal thoughts, even if occasional, I strongly encourage you to seek immediate support whenever you feel unsafe — whether it’s reaching out to a mental health professional, crisis helpline, or a trusted person. Remember, seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. You deserve to feel better, and with proper guidance, healing is very much possible. If you feel comfortable, I recommend booking a consultation where we can discuss this more deeply and personalize a plan for you.
