Hi. If you are looking for improving sleep only, then you can follow sleep hygiene methods to help you with the sleep. If you are constantly feeling stressed, it might indicate that you are not able to disconnect from work once you are done for the day. Certain mindfulness techniques can help you with the same however talking to a professional will help you organise all this material in a more effective way.
Next Steps
Try to follow sleep hygiene, mindfulness techniques and if there is no improvement then consult a clinical psychologist.

Hi.. There are some easy and some difficult ways to fall asleep. Easy ones are obviously with side effects and non durable but immediate. Difficult ones are natural and long term but lack immediacy. But they treat the issues from the root. Easy one: Consult a Psychiatrist and pop a pill. There are so many sleeping pills available in the market, most of them claiming no side effects, which is not true. Our brain adapts to any external substance and makes changes in the brain chemistry. If that change is created temporarily using a drug/pill, our brain is very likely to adapt to this change and eventually it's effect will reduce as the brain also gets used to it. So it starts a never ending cycle of consuming more dose of the same drug/pill or switching to other pills to be effective. Psychiatric medications for mental disorder (including Insomnia) is a different case altogether and it cannot be compared with popping sleeping pills for minor sleep issues. Difficult one: Consult a Psychologist. Your treatment will involve a combination of CBT, Lifestyle Changes, & Interpersonal Guidance and Counselling. You will be taking weekly sessions of 45 min to 1 hr duration. You will be guided on regulating your meal, exercise, breathing/meditation and better sleep hygiene. It will address the physiological component of your sleep issues. You will be counselled on issues you are facing at work, home, personal life, family, relationships, friends, peer group, early childhood parenting, ambition, goals, etc. It will address the psychosocial component of your distress, i.e., resulting in sleep issues. This whole process may stretch from 6-8 months to 1 year depending upon your individual case. Your sleep issues will get resolved within 3 months of weekly sessions, but your core issues may take a longer time to recover. Ultimately your core issues are the one's that are creating these sleep issues. Such issues are more like symptoms of an underlying condition and not an illness in themselves. That's why it is necessary to address the root cause and not just suppress the symptoms.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist. CBT along with Lifestyle Changes and Interpersonal Guidance and Counselling is required.
