Stress increases acid secretion in stomach which in turn promotes regurgitation of acid in food pipe. In the chest, food pipe and heart are nearby. so there is referred pain. Consult physician for hyperacidity. Regular exercise will also decrease regurgitation. Consult psychiatrist for stress management and managing sleep problems if any.
