Stress and anxiety are deleterious to overall neurological status. They can lead to memory problems, attention impairment, difficult to concentrate and much more. Long term stress is known to cause structural changes in the brain. Try to control your stress with lifestyle modifications like adequate sleep, avoidance of caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, etc. Meditation and yoga can help. If not responding to these interventions then you may need medications after a detailed neurological evaluation.
