Strange wet or cool sensation at rectum
Hi, im 40 year female just been dignosed with L4-5:L5-S1 Deceneration L5-S1 PIVD, started medicine from today but after that I am feeling a strange wet or cool sensation around my rectum area. There are no haemorrhoids, no discharge. Motions are normal. It's a very strange and discomfortable feeling.

Your situation can create some unwanted sensations like tingling burning around the rectum area .
As you have started medications from today please wait atleast 2 weeks if u still feel these sensation would like to suggest to get a opinion from a neurosurgeon

Your diagnosis of L4-5 and L5 S1 decentration of the spine is given by the Neurosurgeon who wouldn't have examined your rectum.
Now you should consult a Gastro-Surgeon to find the cause of the cool sensation in the rectum. It may be impossible to find the cause for your symptoms without a physical examination because this is not a very usual symptom .
