Anastasia in eye during squint surgery is painful or not?...is that injection is injected directly into eye?

It will be slightly painful as Anasthesia is given to avoid unavoidable movement of eye during surgery. It is good for patient only.

Injection is given around the eye. You'll get slight pricking sensation on needle prick.
