Stomach pain, stool issue and fever

Kid has been complaining about stomach pain mostly after eating. From the nature of stool it can be seen that it's sticky and not as solid as it usually is. He has been saying since two days n now it's frequent. Today he has fever till 102.5 I have given him dolodart and sponge bath every five minutes to bring fever down. Our doctor had earlier given him cefi tablet 50mg along with reflora kid and dolodart last time when he has similar issues. I feel he has some stomach infection. We r in a remote village now and ordering medicine. We found cefi dry syrup instead of tablet. Is it one and the same?can we use it instead of the tablet?

Yes you can use cefi dry syrup instead of cefi tab. Make sure you dilute the syrup to the given mark. Dose of syrup you can check on label. See if 5 ml is 50 mg or 100 mg.
