Stomach bloated kidney infection
My uncle admitted in hospital due to kidney infection .his stomach is bloated but not kidney failure. Slightly infection spreaded to blood. How serious it is?

If blood got infected with urinary tract organisms, then it's serious issue only. He needs to be monitored closely in a hospital, to be given intravenous antibiotics for nearly 2 weeks. Based on the culture report, it's need to be given. A CT scan of KUB region is required to rule out obstruction. If there's any hydronephrosis, he may need stenting or PCN.
