How can I decide steroid is necessary for patients
My relative with stable oxygen saturation and all blood report normal include crp d dimer,il6,cbC but doctor suggest to start steroid.patient have fever 101 after taking tablet.

Steroids must be avoided as much as required. But continuous fever for 7-8 days in covid is an indication . Before taking it you must consult your consultant.

Steroids are advised only if saturation is below 94 %
Steroids do not cause fever, in fact they make the fever go away.
Please check your doctor's credentials before seeking treatment.
(A lot of patients are scammed by people with fake degrees in allopathy medicine)

Steroid should be started only if oxygen is less than 94 persistently or if crp, il 6 are very high. Steroid should be used cautiously. Lot of things to be taken care of before prescribing it.
