Steam Inhalation Query
Hi can excess steam inhalation cause burns in Airways. I have taken excess hot steam during this Covid times. I am having burning and uncomfortable sensation from throat to chest area. From few days I have developed mouth and tongue redness for which I am taking treatment (B Complex tablet, Folvite and Sucrafil Suspension). Please advise wat to do if I have suffered burns in airways and wat is treatment for tat

Excess steam will not cause burns.it depends on the time and frequency of steam inhalations. It decreases ciliary movement in the nose.pl consult Pulmonologist online with all the reports and treatment.
