  4. Statins for cholestrol. Improve diet?

Statins for cholestrol
Please shed light on statins, if we don't have diabetes or blood pressure , just high cholestrol should we get ct angiogram done and if there is obstruction in arterty then only go on statin? If not then improve diet?

With only high cholesterol, there is no recommendation for CT angiogram. Please consult.
