Can i stop taking statins once i completed the course given by the doctor if the lipid profile comes to normal after re test, i don't have any heart, sugar or Bp problems only my total cholesterol is elevated 270.. i heard those who begin taking a statin medication will have to take it for the rest of their lives it is true kindly reply plz..
