Stairs climb up post LSCS
Hello doctor, I had my LSCS 5 weeks back (23rd May), is it safe to climb up stairs or from when can I start climbing stairs as I plan to visit my mom who stays on the 3rd floor of the building. Kindly advice.

You can start climbing stairs now. You should wear an abdominal binder.     When you go to your mom's house please climb stairs and get down the stairs only once a day. Don't use stairs to build your stamina at this stage.

Yes you can climb now also but it is best to avoid strenous activity for 6 weeks to allow good healing of scars.
