I was detected with outward squint in my right eye today. Doctor wrote ADS 15°, somewhere it written as RDS 15°. my near point of convergence is 12 cm. What is this ADS or RDS stands for ? What type of squint is it? My stereoscopic vision -ve, -ve is written but I was able to point out 2 3D images successfully out of 4. My vision is 6/6 in both eyes with glasses. Am I suffering from convergence inefficiency ( 12 cm) ?, And what is this ADS or RDS squint ?

You may be having conference insufficiency type of intermittent exotropia. The reason you have some stereopsis is because of your ability to fuse sometimes. Near pt of convergence has increased which goes in favour of conf. Insufficiency.
