Squint (Lazy Eye)
My Baby having lazy eye problem in both eyes. I have seen that since she was of 4month old now she is 1year old. I visited to doctor for eye check-up their is not vision problem no numbers in eyes so vision is clear seeing and holding all things properly. Doctor suggested to make operation at 1.5 years. Is it good for my baby to make operation at this stage.?

there are chances of one eye getting amblyopic if you  don't get it operated. but if you  want to avoid it for a year or two then you  will have to keep one eye dilated  with the help of some  dilator drops on an alternate  basis ie putting the drops 2to3 times daily in one eye for one wk and in other eye in next wk . and then get the refraction done  iif it recovers by specs  it's good  otherwise  get it operated.
