Xray of the ankle appears to be normal , calcaneal spur is an accidental finding in an ankle xray.Though there's no fracture ,pain could be due to sprain or tear in the ankle ligaments which could be the reason for the pain.To reduce the pain she could use etocoxib 120 mg once daily . However she may need an MRI of the affected ankle and physiotherapy.
